House Taken Over

House Taken Over

Friday 20th April – Sunday 22nd April 2018

A weekend of talks, performances and artist responses within a historical home in South Belfast curated by Hickey + Hickey. This exhibition is made in response to a recent discovery about the house, and its function as a secret intelligence centre for Northern Ireland during WW2.

House Taken Over is presented as part of the Sonorities Festival organised by the Sonic Arts Research Centre at Queen’s and includes work that draws on festival core themes; forms of listening, techno-human encounters and matters such as machine listening and audio coding.
